The South Korean brand Samsung has now extended the Galaxy S series smartphones lineup with the launch of SamsungGalaxyS Duos smartphone. The smartphone is launched officially in September 2012 after its announcement in July 2012. The official model name is SamsungGalaxyS Duos S7562.
This smartphone is launched after the much rumored Samsung Galaxy S3 which is also S series Galaxy smartphone. We cannot compare these two smartphones. In this post, I have shared the Samsung Galaxy S Duos price in India along with its reviews, advantages and disadvantages.

The design of this handset is made quite well. The smartphone has good handling function with the additional grip provided at the rear part.
Thus despite of being large in size, the smartphone can be used with one handed operations. Let me now start with its dimensions and weight
Dimensions: 121.5 x 63.1 x 10.5 mm
Weight: 120 grams
So smartphone is lighter and thin which adds to the style of this smartphone.
The front of this smartphone has the front camera, proximity sensor and light sensor on the top left part, right to which there is the speaker.
The displayof this handset is 4.0 inches in size with the TFT matrix having the capacitive type. The color support to the display is 16 millions with 233 ppi pixel density.
That’s what the new smartphones of Samsung are wearing, the latest TouchWiz v4.0 which is impressive but still fall short in position as compared to the HTC UI.
The bottom of the front part has three Android buttons. The middle one is the physical button which serves as the Home button. The left button is the Menu on e which is not physical and the right one is the Return button which is also the backlit button.
Let us now talk about the rear of this smartphone which has the 5 MP camera along with the LED flash and speakers at the top left part. There is Samsung logo embossed below the camera lens.
The left and right side of this smartphone have the Volume Rocker button and the Power key or Lock/Unlock key respectively. There is also a microSD card slot on the right side. We missed the dedicated camera key on one of the side.
The top of this smartphone has the 3.5 mm audio jack as according to our data. And the bottom part has the microUSB port. However, some tech gurus are saying that the both audio jack and microUSB ports are present on the bottom of this smartphone. We will confirm the fact after the smartphone’s launch in India.

The handset comes with 4 GB storage capacity. The 32 GB additional expandable support is there with the microSD card slot present blow the battery cover.
The RAM memory is good with the 768 MB.
The performance of this phone is very good with the fluent gaming experience, speedy multitasking operations, web browsing and downloading. The Cortex A5 processor at1 GHz frequency performs well.
As earlier concluded, the 5 MP camera of this smartphone is unable to capture HD videos in 1080 pixels. It however captures the videos with VGA quality @ 30 fps. The camera resolution is 2592 x 1944 pixels. The auto focus function is good move with the geo-tagging function. The LED flash is the additional support. The users will enjoy the VGA camera present on the front part and can use it for the video calling operation.
The 1500 mAh battery of this handset is average that provides 445 hours standby backup and the 13 hours talk time backup on 2G & also upto 330 hours standup backup & 7 hours 25 min talk time backup on 3G.
