Samsung has recently launched the cheapest Android smartphone leaving the Galaxy Young behind. The new addition in the Galaxy Young family is Samsung Galaxy Y DUOS Lite which has some advantages over Galaxy Y with price slightly lesser than it.
The first advantage is the dual SIM functionality and other advantages include the internal memory storage and mobile tracker. The phone is quite useful one which allows the people to have fun with the Android operating system at such an affordable price range.

Looks and Design
The smartphone has the bar shaped form factor, having the quite smaller touchscreen than Galaxy young. The phone has the speakers and the Samsung logo at the top side from front side. The display type is the capacitive type having 320 x 240 pixels resolution. The display size is 7.08 cm. There is middle button at the lower side, which is physical and the other two buttons are touch sensitive.
The rear side of the phone has the 2 MP camera and the speakers at the upper side with the Samsung logo below it.
The left and the right sides of this smartphone has the Volume Rocker and the Power button respectively.
The top part of this smartphone has the 3.5 mm audio connectivity jack along with the microUSB port.
The dimensions of this phone are quite good with 11.1 mm thickness. The length and the width of this phone are 103.7 mm and 57.5 mm respectively. The weight of this smartphone is 97 grams.
Operating System
The Android v2.3 Gingerbread has been placed in this smartphone. The smartphone has exactly the same interface as that of galaxy Young series smartphones.
The phone will not receive any of the software upgrades in future.

Processing Unit
The phone has the 832 MHz processor type which is also the same as that of the galaxy Y. the Ram memory of the phone is 290 MB. The phone gets slow after a huge number of applications are installed in the phone.
Connectivity Features
The phone provides various connectivity features such as 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi. The phone supports the tethering function like USB tethering and Wi-Fi tethering. Also, the Bluetooth v3.0 with high Speed (HS) is there for the near communication between 2 handsets.
The GPS is also enabled with the A-GPS support. The phone has been equipped with the Social Hub which keeps the instant social networking connection. The ChatON, the instant messaging service is preloaded in this smartphone.
Memory
The phone has 3 GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32 GB using the microSD card which can be inserted in the microSD card slot. The phonebook memory of this phone is up to 1000.
Smart Dual SIM function
The phone enables the users to enter two SIM’s simultaneously which are active at the same time. That means if the user is busy talking to someone with first SIM, then the incoming call on 2nd SIM will appear as the Call Waiting tone.
Thus one can keep himself/ herself connected to its office and the friends at the same time with a single phone.
Camera
The camera part is not much impressive. However, at such an affordable price, it is all correct. The rear camera is of 2 MP size which captures the maximum images in 1600 x 1200 pixels. There is no LED flash and secondary camera is also absent.
Battery
The 1200 mAh battery is the standard Li-Ion type which offers standby of 410 hours. The phone provides good talk time backup of about 920 minutes.
